For this day I have scheduled my car to undergo change oil. It was advised by the previous owner of my car as a part of the regular maintenance and also to keep it having a good performance and run smoothly. It should be done at least after three thousand miles of running to ensure that the car will have a longer lifespan. The engine and its part should always be kept lubricated with oil. If you do not do this the moving parts can cause friction or it will all jam in resulting to engine failing. You can also save fuel since less heat for the combustion will be produced. Aside from it there are still a lot of things to do to keep your car functioning well. You have the option to have done by the professional or do it yourself.

To check out the engine oil you should first stop the engine. Locate the dipstick then remove it and clean it with a tissue or rag then reinsert it again. After doing so, lift the dipstick again and see if the oil level is on the full or low level. Full level means you don’t need to worry while if it is in low level you don’t have to panic yet but it is better if you change it soon. Also observe if the it is black definitely needs changing, brown and transparent mean it is just ok. Prevention and maintenance is a must to avoid problems with your car.
